Panini America officials on Wednesday afternoon gave anxiously waiting fans of the company’s upcoming 2014 Dragon Ball Z Trading Card Game plenty of reasons for excitement in the form of three Demo Decks and 75 images previewing the new game set to release on October 17. The three 45-card Demo Decks (included as printable PDFs below) can be used by players to familiarize themselves with the game and to teach others how to play. Fans can access the complete 2014 Dragon Ball Z Trading Card Game Rule Book and the Playmat here. Enjoy the Demo Decks and preview images below.

Panini America Unveils Packaging for 2014 Dragon Ball Z TCG

It’s a package deal. Literally. For this particular post, you see, is all about unveiling the official packaging for Panini America’s 2014 Dragon Ball Z Trading Card Game. Company officials on Friday afternoon pulled the curtain back on the finished packaging configurations for the 2014 Dragon Ball Z Trading Card Game’s wrappers, Starter Decks and Booster Packs. As something of a bonus feature, company officials also are sharing the hypnotic “Mojo” foil pattern that will be featured on the set’s Foil cards.

Panini America Offers Comic-Con Preview of 2014 Dragon Ball Z Trading Card Game

SAN DIEGO — San Diego’s massive 2014 Comic-Con International opened its doors to the general public today after a scintillating sneak peek Wednesday night, and show-goers who stopped by thePanini America booth were treated to a little bit of anime history: The first Promo Card teasing the upcoming release of the 2014 Dragon Ball Z Card Game, the first release of the popular game in almost 10 years.

Panini America is distributing one new 2014 Dragon Ball Z Promo Card during each day of the show (while supplies last); the fifth card in the Promo Set will be available at the FUNimation booth. Fans can also purchase a new Dragon Ball Z playmat at the Panini America booth.

A Legend Returns: Panini America Bringing Back Popular Dragon Ball Z Card Game

Panini America, the leading global publisher of licensed sports and entertainment collectibles, announced today that it is bringing the popular Dragon Ball Z card game back to the market for the first time since 2004.

The 2014 edition features more than 200 new cards, reprints of past fan favorites and is completely compatible with the original series. The new game was developed by Panini America Brand Manager Aik Tongtharadol, a former Dragon Ball Z world champion who also worked on the original Dragon Ball Z Trading Card Game, most recently in 2004. Company officials will preview and demo the game to the public for the first time this week during the 2014 Comic-Con International in San Diego; company officials also will distribute one free 2014 Dragon Ball Z Promo card each day of the show (Thursday through Sunday) while supplies last.
