In just a few days, the Texas Regional will determine the final two Worlds invitees. From there, the countdown begins to December 5th and the culmination of our first season!
Dragon Ball Z 2015 World Championship
December 5 – 9.00 AM
Sheraton DFW Airport Hotel
If you are one of the Qualified Players for this year’s Championship, you’ll need to provide some information about your meal preferences, clothing size, and travel plans. Make sure that you’ve been in contact with firstname.lastname@example.org by 11/15 (e-mail title: WORLDS CHECK-IN). The event will take place at Dallas/Fort Worth Sheraton, near the airport:
The DBZ TCG World Championship will begin registration at 9 AM (Swiss rounds begin at 10 AM) and the entire top cut will feature “best of 3” matches. Due to the celebratory and prestigious nature of the event, respectful spectating will be encouraged. Thirty-two of the game’s super-elite will vie for the trophy – who will claim it?!
Group rates for the Sheraton Airport Hotel are available until November 20th. The $99 rate is open to anyone for the nights of December 4th/5th, pending availability. Whether you’re playing in the Champsionship, participating in side events, or spectating, you’ll want to take advantage of this deal.
ARG 1K/Qualifier and Additional Events:
As the 2015 season comes to an end, it’s also time to start thinking about the future. Alter Reality Games will be hosting a $1000 Qualifier Tournament on site, and the first place finisher will receive an invite to the 2016 Dragon Ball Z World Championship! You can get a jump on the next season of Organized Play by pre-registering here (note: Registration at this event is capped at 150).
ARG will also be firing smaller events throughout the day, including win-a-box and playmat tournaments.
You’ll be able to spectate Worlds online – keep your eyes on the blog for future information. Leading up to the event, we’ll be unveiling the World Championship Series logo, as well previewing some of the exclusive swag that will be available at the venue.
