The first Preseason event of the month takes place tomorrow! 

1. Designer Challenge 

May’s first Preseason event takes place tomorrow – join us from 3-5 CST on Zoom (invite here)! The Designer Challenge will feature creator Brian Fahmie squaring off against a fan, followed by a Q&A session about the upcoming set. Virtual attendees will receive these exclusive promos:

At the end of the event, you’ll also have a chance to win an invite to the 2021 Kickoff Tournament!

2. New Gameplay Mechanics

Tomorrow’s stream will also debut a handful of rulebook changes coming in 2021. Brian and his opponent will showcase these new tweaks to existing mechanics – including a twist on drawing Action Cards! Tune in for a sneak peek at these upcoming revisions, and watch for a full breakdown of all the 2021 updates in the near future.

3. NFL Five 2021 Card Effects

Aside from changes to the rulebook (and new card types!), the next set will also contain some of the most powerful effects seen to date. When spoiler season begins, be on the lookout for:

• A Player card that can make any successful play gain 25 yards – as well as Energize another Player at the end of the down
• An Action card that provides a big bonus if you have three Players with the same position on the on field
• A Gridiron card that allows you to prevents Players from being exhausted by opposing effects
