Hi, folks! 173 players made their way to the Jacksonville Game Center for last weekend’s Regional, and you and see the full breakdown here.
As the first Regional to take place after spoiler season began, the event certainly had a buzz of discussion in the air. However, the high level of competition proved that players were focused on the task at hand. There was a relatively diverse field of decks on display, culminating in a top 4 of Namekian Piccolo, Blue Ginyu, Black Krillin, and Orange Ginyu. In the championship match, Brett Watson was able to take down the victory 2-0 over Kurt Spiess. Congratulations to both for earning a Worlds invite!
Florida T4:
- Brett Watson – Blue Ginyu
- Kurt Spiess – Namekian Piccolo
- Tony Hevia – Orange Ginyu
- Jordan Markle – Black Krillin
Thanks to everyone that was able to participate, assist with judging, or watch the stream online. This weekend, the Regional train rolls on to Chicago. You can pre-register with Nerd Rage Gaming, and save time by filling out a deck registration form in advance. Note that the event is not taking place at the store location, and is at an offsite venue:
