1. NFL Five 2021 Preseason Updates

The NFL season is in full swing, and NFL Five’s Preseason carries on. After last weekend’s exhibition, two new names have been added to the 2021 Kickoff Tournament Qualified Players list – congratulations to Brandon H. and Keelan Y.!

Moving forward, the remaining 2021 Preseason “exhibition tournament” dates (schedule here) will instead be labeled as “exhibition league play” matches. The events will still run for three hours, but participants will play one round against an opponent instead of several.

Twelve invites remain, with the next opportunity taking place on September 26th (invite here).

2. MetaX Card of the Week

Next month’s MetaX giveaway will offer a chance to win the two-player Attack on Titan Starter Deck, and Tension serves as an example of a humble S-rarity card with untapped potential. In general, cards that “draw to replace” have mild or situational effects, and their presence can eat into the count of Characters and Battle Cards. However, the defensive nature of Tension can make up for a lost Battle Card – or generate a swing in tempo for an offensive build!
