See the final Deck Tech of 2018!

Last week’s calendar post asked for your best winter themed Deck Tech submissions, and today’s list takes us to Superman’s frosty Fortress of Solitude – along with some JLA friends for a holiday gathering! This submission comes from MetaX super-fan Kingston R. and his dad Jeff, both of whom are excited to play some matches during this holiday season.

Decks based around Superman are generally consistent and stable, as most versions of him can be difficult to KO. This often leads to a midrange strategy that seeks to generate advantages in the Battle Zone. Shazam perfectly complements this approach, and the rest of the Hero lineup grants access to the all-powerful Heroic Charge. The Battle Card lineup furthers the theme of steadiness with an emphasis on simple card advantage and push effects over exotic tech. Other cards to consider:

• Man Beyond Tomorrow: allows for Big Blue Boy Scout to operate more effectively and opens toolbox for Man of Steel
• 3 Special (C53-GL): mega draw potential under your ideal board-state
• 2 Strength (C35-JL): another reward for the all Hero lineup, activates Big Blue Boy Scout
