Four for Friday: June Designer Challenge!

Find out about “Superstar Players” below.

June’s first Preseason event takes place tomorrow on Zoom – join us from 3-5 CST for a Designer Challenge (invite here)! All virtual attendees will receive this month’s exclusive promo cards. After the featured match with creator Brian Fahmie, stick around for a Q&A session (including new teasers for NFL Five 2021). At the end of the event, you’ll also have a chance to win an invite to the 2021 Kickoff Tournament

The next set of NFL Five will include several new card types, and today’s focus is on Superstar Player cards.

Superstar Player cards are drawn from your deck, and you can overlay them on top of your corresponding Players on the field (similar to Power Up cards). Here are four facts about Superstars in NFL Five 2021:

1. There are ten Superstars in the next set, and two of them are Epic rarity

2. Watch for a defensive Superstar that utilizes Grit in order to make a play become unsuccessful – and move the opponent back 20 yards!

3. You can also expect a Superstar QB that searches your deck for any card, with no downside

4. Finally, be on the lookout for a Synergy* card that has multiple bonuses for Superstar Players…

*Synergy cards begin the game in play – watch for more info about this new card type in next week’s previews!
