Gen Con cancellation news, a new giveaway, and more below.

1. NFL Five Giveaway

Our next NFL Five Giveaway will kick off on May 22nd, and this month’s theme of “Defensive Players” will ask you to investigate Common and Starter cards! To participate, check back on Friday for contest details – then post on the Panini Games Facebook page to enter. Winners will be announced on Friday, May 29th.

2. MetaX Card of the Week

Last week’s poll results saw the Cadet Corps come in second place, and Ymir – Freckles is one of the best “build around” effects in the Trait. Since many Scout Regiment decks are based around Team Attacking, Ymir can easily slip in and generate card advantage by recurring Intelligence Battle Cards like 5 Intelligence (U92-AT). When splashing Ymir into a Scout Regiment list, also consider utilizing stamped Events like Devastation and Training.

3. COVID-19 Updates

Unfortunately, Gen Con has officially been cancelled. However, watch for upcoming announcements about what we’re planning for the event’s original dates (July 30-August 2nd)! Shipments of Tournament Kits and other prizes will also remain suspended until the end of May – look for an update on the status of office hours in June.
